Hi there, just want to make sure I understood it right. I've a multiple entry schengen visa, issued by the Italian embassy. I just got back from Italy after a week of holiday. Now, I'm planning on going back to Europe, Spain or Belgium maybe. My understanding is I can enter these countries using my Schengen visa, right? I was given 20 days as written on the visa, and have used up 7 days which means I've 13 days remaining. The expiry is on 26th of July. So I reckon I can enter the Schengen area within that period using my Italian-issued Schengen visa regardless of whether I enter Italy first or not?

Yes, you should be reading the situation correctly.
However the best source for the correct information is the Embassies of the new countries you wish to visit.

Countries that issue Schengen Visas do prefer if visa recipients first visit the country that issued them the visa. In your case Italy and that should be seen in your passport. So the other future countries you now wish to visit shouldn't be too concerned with your visit.

Immigration officers, even on a train, may want to know your status in any other Country and your draw for returning to another country you have connections with. Study, Work or Family.
