Advice on tax credits

Few Questions, hoping for some advice because I'm not too sure what to do.

    1) I'm currently working two jobs. One pays weekly, one pays monthly. The one that pays weekly currently has all my tax credits allocated to it. Usual working week is worth 4 - 10 hours.

The monthly job, which I just started, currently has 0 tax credits allocated to it, however I work a lot more hours in this job compared to the other one. Usually working week is about 30 - 40 hours.

I've got a monthly tax credit of €275.

Can I get some advice on how to allocate my tax credits please?

    2) I don't think I'll be earning over €10,036 this year, but on the off chance that I will, are there any benefits of notifying the revenue office? Other than being charged USC.

    3) In my new job, my payslip says I earned ~€48, and I got taxed €19. Is this emergency tax or is it due to not having any tax credits allocated to my new job?

    4) How would someone find out if they are entitled to any extra tax credits or tax relief's?

    Thank you :)

I can't offer anyadvice on the credits myself, but I can say that anytime I have phoned Revenue they have always, and I mean always, been particularly helpful and friendly, and they all seem to know what they are talking about, so it's definitely worth giving them a ring.

Your head might be even more confused if you have a load of people on here telling you different stuff! For stuff like this, sometimes it's better to go to the horses mouth!

Just split them 50/50 between the two or any percentage you want.

ring your local district and tell them to allocate accordingly
