Q-Sat Broadband problems

So, I've had Q-Sat since November 2011 and everything was working fine for me. Basically it was doing exactly what it said on the tin - the connection was super fast and very reliable. I never had any problems with it up until about 2-3 weeks ago.

Q-Sat had some maintenance to do and did said maintenance at about 4am. I didn't even know they were doing anything to the satellites until the next morning when my broadband just wouldn't work. I rebooted it several times and nothing changed so I called them and was informed that the required maintenance had caused some customers prolonged problems connecting to the internet and that it would be fixed by that evening. 5 days later it was finally fixed remotely and the world was good again. But since they buggered my broadband up and fixed it again, my modem takes ages to boot where it would take just over a minute before and two lights in particular cut out on the modem at random times while I'm using it. (The system and transmit lights) thus causing me to lose my connection.

Is there something wrong with the modem or is it just normal behavior?

    Hello there,
Joined qsat in oct'11..very happy with the service until easter long weekend. Couldn't get connected. Phoned Q-Sat the following tuesday and they informed me that an upgrade had taken place and tried to get me connected.. since then my terminal keeps going from 5 lights to 3 lights thus breaking my connection..have been in contact with them every week(speaking to a lovely charming man)and each time telling me they were sending emails to the technical team to rectify the problem!! They told me on 20th July as I was on the €29.99 package I was going over my usage and that was the problem..if I "upgraded" to the €34.99 package that might fix it..lost the rag!!!! asked them when my contract was up!! change in attitude by them..said they would "upgrade" me for 1 mth (20thjuly) and not charge me and see if that would "fix" my problem and would you believe its great since!! Checked out q-sat website and there is no €29.99 package.. They start at €34.99..coincidence??????
