    Hi all,

My interior lighting is now not working in my 07 reg opel 1.3cdti.

Kinda annoying. Any suggestions of things to look for or to try?

    Thanks.

Bulb is the obvious first place to check.

Should of mentioned the glove box light was not working so i popped that off the bulb looked ok so popped it back in and it flicked a few times. Its since then the interior lighting is gone. I took the glove box bulb out since then and seems in same condition as before.

The dash lighting is perfect its only the rear lighting , glove box and the light above rear view mirror thats out.

    Starting from silly
Did someone switch them off / to manual?
Can you see the door switches and are they stuck?
Get the tools out, are the bulb(s) blown?
Find the fuseboard, Is the fuse blown?
Getting nasty now, do a continuity check on the wiring.

They were not turned off. The door switches are not stuck, The lighting should come on automatically when i open the car with the remote locking anyway. Glove box bulb seems ok i have not the checked others im not even sure how to access the bulbs above r.v mirror to be honest. Fuseboard is in the boot its quite tricky to access and beside battery under bonnet. Which fuseboard runs the interior lighting and number?

    Thanks.

I couldn't say which fuse it is, if there is no index then you'd need to check them all. Except, if some of the internal lights are working then it's not going to be a fuse. Bulb, wiring fault or maybe the central locking computer thingy.

Its only the internal boot light and internal lights above the r.v mirror that went as a result of me removing/reinserting the glove box bulb.

Im not sure what fusebox im to look in but i just checked the fusebox beside the battery and all looks fine. The other fusebox in the boot looks tricky to access im not sure what im at there to be honest its quite compacted in there.
