Love the storyline, but I'd need to read it, not sure about the typical "it was just a dream" part though,

    I'd say you'll do fine though, :)

You'd be lucky if the examiner even read on past that part :P

If you don't have d 5 rules of the short story u won't get a b. It needs to be about the loneliness of the human individual, must b about AN ORDINARY PERSON, must have many images, person must grow or regress and d world itself must be very hostile. So if you miss out on 1 u will get a B, anymore its a C or less

    I have a slight feeling you're wrong.

No, lol. What he means is that in the past few years, essays about it being a dream tend to come up a lot. The examiner may be tired of seeing such essays by now but nevertheless, you will still get the marks if it's written correctly and meets the guidelines.

    It's more a figure of speech. ;)

Its just they get it a lot :P
They have to corrected like 100 scripts and I'd say they will see " it was all a dream" at least 10-15 times.
Yours seems ok tho',you mentioned about having the scars etc.
    You're fine :)

I'm such a flaming retard. I left the essay question to the end, and went ahead going at a snail's pace.
Two sentences in and the super-intendent says "5 minutes."

And that's when I **** myself. I was planning on writing about a guy who goes deep underground to survive the destruction above ground. I was going to write about his memories of his family who were killed during the destruction. But there's a little plot twist. I was going to make it sound like it's a supernatural kind of setting, but he collapses at a stray piece of wood with the words "Hiroshima" on it.

Would've been good, I think. But I screwed right up.

You are definitely wrong. You cannot go down one grade just by not including one of those elements. I have corrected Junior Cert English three times

One of the skilsl that is critical is time management,. You could know everything there is to know to get 100% on every exam paper but if you do not manage your time, you're in trouble. Have a watch in front of you for the rest of the exams.

Yeah, a watch is essential. I can't see the clock either from where I'm sitting.
