Shock absorber eye bushes

    Hi,
Does anyone know if you can get replacement bushes for the eyes of shocks? The rubber bushes are cracked and breaking up from what I can see and not 100% but the shocks seem to be ok. So if I can replace them rather than the whole unit it would save some cash. Car just passed NCT so that's why I'm confident there ok apart from the bushes.
    Cheers.

You can but they don't last very long in my experience. They are good for getting a car through an NCT but not a lot else.

Is there an online store? I can't seem to find them! I'd like to cost against new shocks to compare

I am somewhat old fashioned in that I buy most of my parts in a place called a motor factors rather than online ;)

Get a poly bush one it will last longer than the usual butal rubber type. They cost a bit more, but you get what you pay for.
