I've learnt off the following essays:
    Cluichí Oilimpeacha
    Campáil
    Robáil banc
    La na ndeonach

    Any essentials I'm leaving out?
I'm considering learning tabacht an sport and ceolchoirm as I have notes for both of those. I have notes for far too many essays to learn them all off, there's about 20!

    Tips?

P.s. excuse my spelling of Irish words.

    You have enough.
    The titles are very general.

I know Tine ag an diosco (can be changed to have happened anywhere)
    And cluiche a chonaic mé
I half know one about going out onto a lake in a boat, falling into the water and then nearly drowning.

Would that be ok? We've never done one on timpiste...

Do you not use the book 'Fonn 3'

So I have timpiste learnt pretty well. Would I get away with it? I can tweak a good bit.

Nope. We just have "seoid" for listening comprehensions and our exam papers... Our teacher gave us all the vocab/essays. Should I be worried? Especially as I don't have timpiste...

Guys, the secret to the essay is simple.

    Timpiste, Timpiste, Timpiste!

    Besides,
    whats a party/walk in the woods/camping trip/bank robbery/disco/match
without somebody ending up in hospital! :)

Just get out of whatever situtation they give you as soon as possible.
For example, in the mocks for the "walk in the forest" one, I said I seen a ghost, screamed gh-gh-ghost!! ran out onto the road, and got hit by a car.
    Simple!

Here's some notes for Timpiste Bothar, but if you are unable to make it to a road easily, just say there was a fight and take it from there. ;)

    Part 1
    http://mrunsensible666.deviantart.com/art/Timpiste-an-Bothar-Part-1-193435364

    Part 2
    http://mrunsensible666.deviantart.com/art/Timpiste-an-Bothar-Part-2-193435562

As for the grammar, well it's only worth 5% in total, so if you don't know it by now, don't bother trying, focus on the rest ;)

Now for paper 2, I need some advice

    For Poetry,

I know Teilifíse really really well. It covers Grá mainly, as well as tuiscint, foighne and óige

I've also covered another poem that deals with sadness, etc. but I'm wondering if it's worth learning?

Then for the story I know leite dhonnacha pheig, which covers family & kids etc.....I could also learn dioltas an madra rua, but should I?

    Thanks!

Timpiste Bóthar is the way to go. Seriously, works for pretty much everything.
    I'm learning:
    1. Timpiste Bóthar
    2. Ceolchoirm
    3. Doitean sa Teach (Fire)

Not going to learn party because it came up in 2010, or Sports Game because it came up last year so...

I've also noticed a trend, look at this:
2010 = Something that happened when you were out shopping
2009 = Something that happened when you were out in a storm
2008 = Something that happened when you were on holidays abroad last year
2007 = Something that happened when you and friend were shopping in city
For all of those, car accident works :P
Now, in 2011 it was slightly different, ("I will never forget that Halloween night") but Car Accident works for that too so be grand! Learn car accident you'll be sorted

The essay I've learnt off on Tine ag an diosco can be changed to any location. I'm only hoping that it'll fit the title.... It fits all the past years though apart from the storm... Hopefully I'll be ok. :o

As a side note, does "Níor shíl mé go dtiocfaidh sé/sí" mean I didn't think he/she would come?

Something that happened when you were out shopping could be robail
Something that happened when you were out in a storm could be campail
Something that happened when you were on holidays abroad last year could be campail
Something that happened when you and friend were shopping in city could be robail

And era, why not go camping on Halloween!

    Sorted

Timpiste will AlWAYS fit into something, it'll either be a road accident or a fight, but you can always use the hospital half of it.

For the storm one you could say you slipped in the rain and fell on the road or something....

I was wondering about that too, turns out that yes, it does mean "I didn't think he/she would come". "Shíl" means 'to feel/think' and "tiocfaidh" is the past tense of tar, which means 'to come' :pac:
