    Hi girls

I'm not from Dublin but will be in the city tomorrow & Friday was going to check out few dresses while up there.

Is there anywhere ye recommend in the city centre? Have made an appointment with myrtle ivory. Is there any others that you would recommend that must b seen!

I'd recommend Alexanders in Parnell Street. They've got a wide selection and will let you try on as many as you need to narrow down what style you like etc. Even if you don't end up buying there, it could help you find the type thing you're looking for.

Or if you wanted to try something different check out Claire garvey in temple bar.
wwww.clairegarvey.com She is making my dress.
Right beside the queen of tarts which does nice food.

I looked in berketex and alexandras, found the girl in berketex to be very pushy, alexandras were ok. I ended up getting my dress in the bridal corner, girls are fab and gave me loads of time! Beautiful dresses there too.

Most shops require appointments so you should phone in advance to check.

    Alexanders on Parnell Street
    Berketex in Jervis Street
Ivory Rooms on Capel St (small selection though)
    Ciara Bridal in Powerscourt centre
Town Bride in Powerscourt centre (usually a long waiting list for appts)
    Aspirations on Dame Lane
