Unseen Drama - So Hard!

It was so, so confusing, I didnt understand it at all. The questions were also really difficult - the character question is usually easy marks for me but I couldn't say a single thing!

In the end I had to go for the Other Drama which was easier but it threw me off a bit. I think that's the hardest Unseen Drama in quite a few years, I've been doing the papers.

I chose the Other Drama too because the language of the Shakespearian Drama was so complicated. The questions of between both were very similar anyway.

Yeah I'd never go for the Shakespearean Drama, always the other one,
It was okay I suppose, wasn't that bad, I said she was forgetful, hateful towards others & strong willed, for the character question, that is.

I'm just grateful that I can forget about english for 14 months! (doing ty haha) :P

Really not looking forward to cramming for Irish this evening, my head is splitting! :/

^^ It was The Tempest. Not sure when it comes online.
The question "What impression do you get off Boatswain" was just :confused::confused: since he only had like 5 lines!

I said the boatswain was loyal, courageous and not afraid to speak his mind.

    loyal to the captain
courageous in the danger of the storm
not afraid to speak his mind to the king.

three elements which make it a powerful piece of drama:
    setting
    characters
    language

I said that the elements adding to the drama were the tension of the storm and the conflict between the Boatswain and Sebastian and Gonzalo (or whatever his name was....)...

No offense but why would anyone do the Shakespearian !?

The language would just slow me down so much, plus the Other Drama was quite easy. :D I said that Lucy was selfish and not generous towards others, dramatic and had a lot of self pity. Then I said that I'd like to play John because he was funny, sarcastic, a voice of wisdom and it always seemed to be him putting Lucy in her place.

    Anyone agree?

    questions are easier on Shakespeare.

My teacher told me to do the shakespearian because they mark it slightly easier seeing as the langage is so hard.. :D

I said that the Boatswain was a loyal, no-nonsense kind of guy who viewed everyone equal.

The non-shakespeare drama was incredibly easy!

The John one I was about the same but for Lucy I said she was obviously extremely disorganised, stressed and something who felt unappreciated. :)

I did the Shakespearian Drama and while I did not finish it completely I found it easy enough. I said that the boatswain was bombastic, brave and decisive. The directing part was also easy
