Aldi TV Stand

It's a good stand, I got it during a previous run of the offer.
It's sturdy enough but can't comment on putting bigger tv's on it. Probably more to do with how heavy the tv is.

The 42" thing is probably more to do with weight than size.
It will hang over the edge on each side but check if there's a max weight on the box before purchase.

Yes, that seems sensible. I don't mind it hanging over the sides at all. I will have to check the box on the stand as the television is 20.8 kg. Shame they don't tell you that in advance of going up to Aldi to read it off the box.

I got one in 2010 for the bedroom, she's still standing. Wouldn't have any qualms in recommending it.

Max weight was 40kg so I snapped one up this morning in Aldi in Finglas. Bad weather for carting a tv stand through the rain but job done now.
