sony x`10 help please

hi . ive this phone but theres no function to use the wifi as a hot spot
can i do anything else . basicly i need to check stuff on my laptop....and see on a larger screen. cheers guys

edit .. i read this phone if updated to a later version of android can theather .. if theres anyone who can update it id be ever so greatfull.
