CH Thermostat Cover

    We recently opened up the boxed in area under our stairs to make extra storage space. We knocked away the plasterboard wall which had the thermostat for the downstairs CH circuit attached, but to get the thermostat off we had to cut the plasterboard away from around it as for the life of us, we could not figure out how to get the cover off. From searching online this is the closest I can find to it:

    Does anyone have any clue how to get the cover off so we can re-fit it as we don't want to break it.

    take the dial off and there maybe a small phillips screw behind it holding the cover on. Unscrew it and it shud come off, if its there.....

    Does the dial just pull off? It seems to be attached quite firmly.
