Partial self employed

    I've a paye job and I'm talking reduced hours to concentrate an a venture of mine so I'll be partly self employed

    What do I need to collect from the tax office in relation to this and will I be able to claim expenses despite being self employed

    Read the guide to self employed in the stickies.

    You can register for VAT using a TR1- you prob won't be over the thresholds.

    After that's its a matter of declaring your Income on a Form 11 and away you go. Best of luck.
