    Hi,
looking for a bit of advice. I'm going to Vietnam in November with 4 friends and am getting conflicting advice on how to obtain a visa on line as there is no embassy in Dublin. Has anyone used these online companies, how Kosher are they? I dont want to pay up and find the document I have is worthless when I arrive in Vietnam. Any info is much appreciated. Marie:)

Depends on which one you use but the big ones like http://www.myvietnamvisa.com/ are kosher. They get you authorization and you print it out and bring it with you to get the visa on arrival. No rip off fees or anything like that, it is a nice service compared to what Irish people had to go through a few years ago before there was a visa on arrival option.

That's really just wasted effort. Myvietnamvisa works perfect.

Thanks everyone. I'll go with myvietnamvisa as it seems the most straightforward and I'm happy that its 'legit'. :D

Try make it to Sa Pa while you're there.. Along with Ha Long Bay. 2 of my fav places in the country. If y have any questions, just ask. Been here a year and a half.

Thanks for that. Wont make it to Sa pa but have Halong bay on the itinerary. Have you a recommendation for a tour company to go with on the overnight cruise or are they all similar, any other suggestions. Cheers

Hey there (sorry for hijack OP)
Can you recommend a good tour to go on for both Sa Pa and and Halong Bay.
I would like to do 2 days (train, hotel, train) in Sa Pa and 2 night in Halong (both on boat or one boat, one Cat Ba Island...I dont mind really).
I dont want really budget tours but cant afford expensive ones either...thanks !!!
