Any point changing my OS

    Hey guys
    Im thinking of ungrading my os on my laptop currently running Vista(R) Home Premium SP1 32 bit Editionbut was thinking of goin for 64 bit as supposidley its fster and would allow me to install up to 8gb ram. Now im am a complete idiot when comes to these thing so help would be greatly appreciated . Foolish idea or mite work. Ill be using my laptop mainly for gaming but doing drawings fro work on autocad and solidworks that kinda ****e. Those two programs i know are very demanding.

    Windows 7 is a pretty safe bet, pretty rock solid OS IMO

    sorry lad its a dell studio xps 1640 laptop can give ya spec if it helps mayb see what i can upgrade and change but will it make much of a diff really like

    Ultimate isn't worth the outlay Home Premium does the job fine.
