ok lads if someone can help with this id be seriously thankful

thought this would have been so much easier coming from iphone where software was automatically restored to apple spec as compared to this and i have to say im in over my head

bought a galaxy s2 today and it was rooted but i preferred to have it standard so having looked up how to do it on you tube i downloaded the files and odin too and set about putting a stock firmware back on it

    got it in download mode

    clicked pda on odin

selected my stock firmware and clicked start it went through all the motions and even got a pass sign in the box top left but the phone never did anything more it rebooted with its stock boot logo and then stayed with the big S logo and galaxy s 2 written below it

whats the issue, what have i overlooked ive been trawling the internet all evening looking for other advice but decided the knowledgeable folks on here might be able to help

Make sure you have Odin open BEFORE you connect the phone, not doing so can cause problems. Within Odin, ensure that re-partition is either ticked or not depending on your instructions. Follow the instructions to the letter and you should be ok

dont worry easy fix hold the volume up button and the home button and the on off button all at once until brings up a screen that says wipe darik and factory reset do both then go back to odin with the phone in download mode and flash the stop firmware
