What type of golf bag does everyone recommend using?I use a powercaddy bag with a trolley(disaster i know) I got the bag for dead cheap when starting back playing but seriously need a change as pulling that bag around the course has my legs wrecked.

Can people recommend a few lighter bags for my trolley?

I have the Titleist Reverse Cart Bag. I find it excellent and light.
    Fits perfectly onto my trolley.

Sweet thanks.I'm definitely looking for something light, my bag at present is like pulling an elephant around the course. How much did you pay for the bag?

Bought it from McGuirks online for €119. That was with 20% off some weekend a while back

Have you considered changing your trolley? I got one of these push trolleys and they make my bag (which weights a ton) a dawdle to push around.

    +1 for the twinline

I have the 3 and I can push it around with a couple of fingers most of the time. Nearly pushes itself its that easy. Everything is accessible. Thought about a stand bag at one stage, but nah, too much effort!

Slightly off topic but what's the difference between the Twinline 1 and Twinline 3 push trolleys? A push trolley is on my shopping list and having played with people with the Powakaddy push trolleys before can vouch for how easy they are to push around. The Twinlines seem very solid and fold to a comparable size to the normal pull carts so thinking of making the transition.

The only difference I can see on their site is that they mention the Twinline 3 has threaded wheels for better grip. TBH, I had to examine both for about two minutes to actually tell which was mine. Don't think there's much difference.

Bought the Twinline 3 about a month ago. Main difference (and deciding factor for me) was that the 3 seems to fold up a nice bit smaller than the 1.

I just bought a Cleveland lightweight bag on Sunday ...

in Elverys Liffey Valley for €85 reduced from €119. Tried it out on Monday and love it. Light and easy to use, sat on the trolley sideways with easy access to the clubs and plenty of storage.

After playing 2 comps back to back last year and getting soaked, it took 4 days for my powakaddy bag to dry out. So for Christmas I received (after many hints), a Sun Mountain H2NO Staff cart bag. It's fully waterproof, not just waterproof pockets and made with similar material to wet gear so very lightweight also. A bit on the pricey side though. Supposed to be playing a match this evening, most likely the course will be closed. But if it goes ahead, at least I won't have the bag in the house to dry it out over the next 4 days.

I have one of these and would second your opinion, they're the dog's b. Nothing gets wet! Getting lazy with my trolley bag though, might switch to the carry bag for the summer this weekend now.

    Would you recommend it?
I'm looking for a new bag and cart and I think the h2no is what I'm looking for.
I want plenty of space for wet gear, towels and the like. I want it waterproof and I want is specifically designed for a cart so all pockets are easily accessible.
I have never actual seen one in the flesh.
Are they good quality? Would the material rip easily do you think or is it strong enough? Do you know where you got yours from?

Contemplating a new bag myself for my PowaKaddy sport.

The bag I'm using is a hand me down and the rain on Tuesday got through everywhere on the bag, nightmare

The main difference between the twinline 3 and 1, other than the tread in the tyres giving you a bit of extra traction (important for those lads who want to gain that 0.1 of a second in their pursuit of rushing around the course in 2.5 hours), is that the height of the handle is adjustable (meaning it folds up slightly more compact in the boot as well as adjusting to suit your height when in use) and the height of the top bar on which the bag rests and is held in is also adjustable whereas on the 1 these are both fixed. Recently just got the twinline 3- still using my stand bag so that I can carry if just going for a few holes, the top of this bag was slightly too short to fit properly on the twinline 1 so had to go for the 3 (bargained with the guy in mcguirks to get it for €105). Agree with the positive reports above, much easier to push the bag around than pull.

There is plenty of space in the bag alright - 6 pockets including a velour lined valuable pocket - all easily accessible from the trolley. The bag material is fully waterproof and made form similar material to wet gear but much stronger. I've no rips in the material from 6 months of use and from throwing it into the boot but I don't try to push the boundaries. It is good quality but when you first feel the bag you think it feels cheap - again, this is just because of the waterproof material. Only thing I have noticed is the rain hood has started to fray a bit due to friction from the trolly when it is on. But this also happened with all my previous golf bag hoods.
Very happy with it though and when ever it looks like rain and I'm playing with friends, they will always hand me their smart phones
Herself picked mine up on the net somewhere but I see Gamola Golf are doing them for 160 sterling which include free postage and that sounds like a good price for one.
