    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPDY

    Just a quick feature suggestion.
Firefox as of v13 supports SPDY protocol along with Google Chrome.

For a site like boards I don't know what gains you'd might get but maybe it's something worth looking into :)

    Thanks!!

I had a look at SPDY a few months back. We currently use Lighttpd which has no plans to introduce the protocol in the near future. Our next choice would be nginx but again there are no plans to support SPDY. The only server that offers support that would be in any way suitable is Apache with mod_spdy. It's unlikely that we will switch to apache any time soon. We'll check back in on this in 6 months and see if any thing has changed.

Yeah I can't imagine Lighttpd will be supporting it any time soon. I'll have a look at mod_spdy here in work myself...more out of curiosity then anything.

Cheers Paddy, thanks for the response. :)

    Edit
Oh and I see SPDY uses HTTPS only so boards would need to serve content over HTTPS in order to benefit from it.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
