Does Modem Direction Matter

I get a pretty good 3g/hspa signal at the best of times but I just wonder is there a preferred way to face your modem for best result.

e.g should the blue light be facing out towards window, should stick be vertical or horizontal etc.

The one I have is pretty adjustable.

I used to have one of these modems, depending on where I pointed it I'd get a different cell (lots of cells in my area though). Test it out with this : http://www.nerve.org.za/mdma/ and see if it does make any difference.

Ah yeah they're pretty finicky sometimes, whatever way works best stick with it! but yeah once the signal is decent any old way, you should be grand
