Posting this on behalf of all of us JC veterans and heck, even those who haven't sat it yet to say good luck to all you JC 2012ers. I wish you all the very best of luck in these exams and I hope that you'll all be happy with what you get, no matter what it is, because that's the main thing. :)

As spurious' famous catchphrase dictates, you will all do better than you expect. Right all the time, 99.9% of the time.

Also don't worry needlessly. It'll be fine, worrying now is as pointless as trying to solve an algebra problem by chewing bubblegum.

Best of luck my minions, make me proud. :')

(Anyone else wishing to convey their heartfelt messages of luck and hope, please post them here, thanks!)

    Good luck to all.

It's not the end of the world and yet it's a big milestone at the same time.
For many people it's the first time they will have done an important national test entirely on their own. That can be very affirming if you do well, but it can be crushing to your self-esteem if it doesn't go as you hoped. The main thing either way, is to learn from the experience.

For those in the Dublin city centre area, make sure you have allowed time to get round the Olympic torch events in the morning, so that you can get to your exam in time.

Good luck lads, hope you all do well and get what you want. But if you don't remember it's only the JC, pick yourself up and dust yourself off and do better for the LC. Even Einstein failed tests.. a lot actually, when he applied to university a year early he got declined for failing his entrance exam. (he passed the science and math part but failed the languages/geography etc) and he turned out pretty well!
Bottom line, if you do good, well done :D .. If you do not so good, it's not the end of the world. :)

Arra lads best of luck with it! Knock 'em dead :)

At this stage I hope yee all have the books put away and are only going to take them out for a little refresher if needs be in the morning! Although I cant say anything (Pot, kettle, black.. etc)
But dont worry about it, if youre anything like me in less than 2 years later you'll have forgotten nearly all details of it, you shouldnt have any everlasting horrors! :pac:
So best of luck and remember at the end of the day you're only 14/15, this isnt going to have a major impact on your life, youre still growing :)
