    Here's an example:
    Report on Local Fundraising Project

    Introduction:
The Chernobyl Children's Project asked the community to get involved in fundraising for the orphans in Belarus. The community decided to fill a container truck with goods to be transported to Belarus. Donations of clothes, dry goods, blankets, medical supplies and toys were requested.

    Information:
A container truck was parked the car park of MacCarthy's Supermarket for the duration of the project. Over the course of two weeks, people were encouraged to drop off goods between 10am and 10pm. A rota of volunteers was set up in order to receive, sort and pack the goods. Other volunteers put up posters to raise awareness of the project. An enormous volume of goods was received, mostly of very high quality. Many people brought goods in the supermarket for donation. The busiest drop-off times were early in the morning, lunchtime and early in the evening. Other times were very quiet.

    Conclusion:
From observation of the project, the generosity of many people is clear. However, a minority of people took the opportunity to clean out their attics, and contributed worthless and broken items. It was felt that there was not enough publicity, and that the posters were unclear, particularly about drop-off times. It was difficult to find enough volunteers to man the container truck for the full day.

    Recommendations:
Due to these conclusions, it is recommended that, in future, the following steps be taken for a project of this type:
    1) Material should be quickly examined on arrival, and inappropriate goods should be refused.
    2) Publicity must be given more attention. Local newsletters and radio stations should be asked to get involved.
    3) Drop-off times should be limited to the busiest times. Finding volunteers would not then be of such a problem.
