Any FTA HD Satellite receiver will pick these up - best advice would be a freesat receiver

Yes it is possible. These channels are FTA (Free to air) and as such will be received by any HD satellite receiver connected to a dish pointed a 28.2E (Astra 2s). No subscription or viewing card required.

Thanks lads, meant to say I have a sky viewing card and subscription. Is there any way to just add these to other channels?

You need a HD box to watch HD channels

You need a HD capable box. If you have a Sky HD box, but only subscribe to non HD channels then you can get BBC HD without going into other channels.

You could buy a second hand HD box, but still only subscribe to SD packages.

Otherwise you could get a freesat HD box. No monthly payments to get all the free HD channels

There will be loads and loads of Olympic coverage on freesat that may or may not be carried by Sky.
