    Try disabling the on-board graphics altogether in the BIOS.
    Next the obvious, verify you're connected to the new card not the on-board. :)
    It should boot up using the 5450 automatically.

    The BIOS is pretty old on that motherboard, last update 2007,
    i'm wondering if it's a BIOS issue, if you are still having problems.

    Thanks for for the reply. I think its the BIOS problem myself tbh

    I looked up the instructions on how to updat the BIOS but it only gives me instructions on how to do it floppy :rolleyes:

    Can anyone advice me on what to do please
