    I really hope no one here needs to go into the tax office to tax your car, thr queue goes back to the planning office

    Thought there was a branch of the tax office out in Carraroe where you could tax the car, being a "connemara man" it might be a better option than the "big smoke"

    There is indeed, I happen to live in galway or the "big smoke" so its a tad out of the way, it also has limited opening times,
    I have learnt my lesson never try an be helpful on a forum :-P

    I think you were unlucky. I taxed my car there last week, in and out in ten minutes. Timing is everything.
