comic in 90's like the hobbit

    Hello, just trying to remember a comic that came out in the early 90's where the main character starts off wondering in a cave.
    Does anyone have any idea of the comic?
    Sorry can't remember much more but in the back you had a puzzle where you have to try count the amount of times a bug appeared throughout the issue

    Sounds like "The Ancestral Trail" to me (heres the Wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ancestral_Trail )

    Twas a great series, I have the lot, bar the last issue of the second series :(

    I also love this comics very much especially it's 12th edition "The Scorpion Of the desert"
