Thats the ones rover were involved in making so its bound to be abit softer in every way

would need to remove the front 2 off the price for me (I'm not into my cars) but a 12/13yr old car should be sub 1K, I own a 03 fiesta and would look for less than 1K if selling it.

European MA MB MC five-door Civic / Civic Aerodeck

    220px-Honda_Civic_Kombi_rear_20071009.jpg magnify-clip.png
    European Honda Civic Aerodeck

Based on the Domani, this version was marketed in Europe as the MA/MB/MC Civic and Civic Aerodeck. It was built in five-door and Aerodeck (Estate) models in various trim levels and engine sizes. The Aerodeck name was previously used on the Honda Accord Aerodeck, which was a 2-door station wagon, also known in Europe as a shooting-brake. Right from the thrifty 1.4L engines (D14A2/A5/A7), 1.5L engines (D15Z8/Z3), 1.6L Engines (D16Y2/Y3, D16W2/W3, D16B2 etc.) and ever popular 1.8 L DOHC VTEC engine (B18C4. These came with five-door, 55 L fuel tank, ABS, Driver and Passenger Air bags, Power Steering, Electric wing mirrors etc. The later models came with A/C as standard. 1.8VTI model was the flagship model (explained in detail below) with the biggest petrol engine to be given to MA MB MC civics. Although it also came in diesel engines 2.0L 8V SOHC(20T2N, 20T2R), later diesel engines came with factory fitted intercoolers. The chassis codes designated to this model and generation of civics were Civic chassis codes MA8, MA9, MB1, MB2, MB3, MB4, MB6, MB7, MB8), Aerodeck Chassis codes (MB9, MC1, MC2, MC3, MC9). Compared to the original Domani, the Liftback and Aerodeck featured a new interior, similar to that of the Rover 400 - Honda and Rover were working together during the production of this car, so this era of UK-made Civics shares underpinnings with the Rover 400/45/MG ZS.

The Honda domani was already signed off and almost in production before the idea to share the car with Rover came to be. Any suggestion of the Japanese built car being inferior as a result of Rover (who to be fair were using their own engines, the main bit people criticise on rovers of that era) using the car as a basis for the 400 is nonsense

They were built in the UK ;)

Thought the civic aerodecks were built in Japan.
regardless, I don't see what rover would have to do with the quality (unless rover built them?)

Assembled, big difference. that B18C4 which is in the one above is the same unit that is in the DC2 Integra SiR and it isn't far off the power of a TypeR. Those engines are renowned for their reliability

Seemed to be mad money for an MB6 but if you're happy with it then fair enough! They're a nice sleeper.

Nice one, they are a nice car, was tempted by one myself and as I said those engines aren't far off the B18C5 of the Integra TypeR
