I just got a secondhand canopy for my jeep like the one in the photo and i'm wondering if it would be hard work to spray it myself, not sure how much it would cost to get it done professionally but if it was worth having a go at it myself i might try it

depends on how good a finish you want on it. if you want it perfect get a pro to do it. if you just want to match the colour to your own 4x4 give it a go yourself. have you a spray gun or were you planning on using rattle cans?

was going to get the colour made up in vinny byrnes and spray it from the can, would i be right in saying sand thoroughly, put primer on, then paint and finish off with a lacquer? saying it like that probably makes it sound easy
