Does anyone know the song "Billy in the Bowl"?
It is mentioned in the pogues song "The Sick Bed of Cuchulainn"
"There was lousy drunken bastards singing 'Billy in the bowl'..."
and int he Dubliners song "The Twang man"
"An` he stole the heart of the Twangman`s girl playin` Billy-in-the-bowl!"

Billy in the bowl is also known as the Stoneybatter Strangler.
He was a 18th century Dublin Man who had a primitive wheelchair. He used to pretend to be injured and then kill and rob the woman who came to his aid.

There is a good post on Billy here

So does anyone know where there is a copy of this song or even the lyrics to it?
