Water tank, I've done something really stupid

Basically I think I've run the water tank dry by leaving the shower, sink and bath taps running for way too long in the one go for various reasons.

Both bath and bathroom sink taps are now barely a trickle for the last hour.
The shower motor is making an awful noise and has no water.
The toilet cistern isn't filling up.

The kitchen cold and hot tap and outside tap are working fine.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

update, after running all taps downstairs maybe it shifted an air lock and now all taps working fine again.
i tried to delete this whole post - but couldn't.
So maybe its existence might be of some use to someone else in same situation.
