Good ebooks for prosective pilots?

I've recently been given a kindle as a present, and figured it was time to start putting some stuff onto it. Apart from all the free Charles Dickens books I can get, I was wondering does anyone have any suggestions for reading material for newly qualified pilots like me to help improve our knowledge?

This may not improve your knowledge as such but an amazing account of flying in the 30's and 40's. An excellent read. 'Fate is the Hunter' by Ernest K.Gann
