I read before on Qualifax that ITT accepts an E at higher leval Maths as a pass at ordinary level but award 0 points. I emailed the college and got no response. Is this correct and does it apply to the Computing, and IT Managment courses?

For IT Management you need at least a D3 in Ordinary.

For Computing you need a D3 but a C3 is recommended at Ordinary Level.

Perhaps for the IT Management course you should email the course director. http://www.it-tallaght.ie/index.cfm/page/course?id=63

Maybe you can get an exemption.

I know I need a D3 but the qulifax website says this for computing ITT:
A Higher Level E may be used to satisfy the entry requirement in Mathematics but will not receive points. Students with a HE in Mathematics must have passed five other subjects with a minimum grade of OD3.

I just wanted to confirm if that is correct. It can be found here under Leaving Cert entry requirements.

You might be best to give the main reception number a call ( 01-4042000 ) and ask to be put through to the school or failing that the Adacemic and Student affairs officer.
