No way you will get Freeview in Cork.

And they don't mention Saorview in the spec, so not sure if it will get that either.

You should get the Saorview model NOT the freeview model. For best free channels combine the TV with a FreeSAT receiver http://www.freesat.co.uk and a satellite dish.

In this way you get the Irish channels via a TV aerial and the UK channels via a dish and a seperate satellite box. Then you have all the best channels with no monthly bills. All free!

In case you are not aware to watch Saorview channels you need a TV aerial pointed at your nearest mast. Here is a list of masts

    http://www.saorview.ie/make-the-switch/coverage-map/

Put in your exact address and it will show you which mast is best for you. For example there is a mast at collins barracks.

If you are within 3 miles of a mast or at a good spot an indoor aerial might work. It's best, if trying an indoor aerial, to get it under argos money back refund and bring it back if it not suitable for you.

If you want an outdoor rooftop aerial we can give advice here or recommend installers. If you have never set up a dish then it's probably best to leave it to a professional.
