two farmers, one farm

    i'm going to farm with my father, he is renting me some of his land. can i go ahead and transfer the cows he is giving me to my herd number before bloodtesting them they are already on the land he gave me so i wont actually be moving or selling them till the winter

    you have to blood test them first and get a movement permit

    My brother in law farms in a similar system with his brother.
    You need to follow the same rules as any two other farmers.

    I think technically if ye form a partnership then ye should only have 1 herd number
