Why would ask some random people on the internet a very important question like that? Surely you should be asking your employer or a visa specialist?

If you'll get caught by immigration while working without work permit or green card you will never see Ireland again. The fact that you have applied for means nothing.

and then what? once July hits, if his green card or work permit hasn't arrived he/she will be working illegally.
As another poster said, such things are best confirmed with INIS and confirmation obtained in writing before committing to a company when possibly you can only work there for 6 weeks. Its not going to go down too well with the employer if they get into trouble for having OP on staff illegally.

I hope OP got proper confirmation from the relevant authorities before committing to anything - otherwise its a big risk.

The OP's question was can he start work in June as he has applied for relevant visa and he has a permission till end of July. The answer is yes he can start work. He confirmed it with relevant people, and as long as he does not work without a permission he will be fine. He asked a simple question and got a simple answer. The OP said nothing about working without permission hence my post in answer to another poster.
