I was planning on doing my essay first but after that I dont know?
I know you should chose B first, but would it better to do A first?
Is it easier to get marks on A cos' theres 3 diffrenct questions or ... ?

I choose my B, do my A, do my B then do my essay. It works great because you can think about the B and essay, the more creative parts, while doing the A. :)

And I find reading the comprehension relaxing, settles you in :)

They mark the essay first, so its not a bad idea to do it first

Old me would have called you stupid for making this thread since we all know the order doesn't matter one little bit.

But new me is going to agree with you and say it's best to do the essay first because of reasons I can't think of because none exist, i wish you the best of luck and hope we remain friends after the exams are over

    Yours lovingly

    1. Read the essay titles.

    2. Either give up all hope or fist pump when you see an essay title which suits you perfectly.

    3. Read the B questions.

    4. Glance at the A questions to see if there is any particularly easy text/questions.

    5. Choose your B part.

    6. Choose your A part.

    7. Do part A.

    8. Do part B.

    9. Do your essay.

    10. Rejoice!! You have now completed your first Leaving Certificate exam.

I get the whole doing the comprehensions first to get you in frame of mind thing, but should you not do the essay first if its worth more?
I always run out of time in paper time so I'd be kinda worried about not finishing my essay.
Still undecided though. I'd wanna get my act together and have an idea of what I'm doing soon. :/

Is there a layout for writing an article or newspaper report

I think you need a title, not sure if the rest matters
