I have a new smartboard 480 in my school, which was installed Friday and was working fine with my laptop when installer left. I disconnected the laptop and today reconnected it, but the message "No source found" comes up. I've checked connections are correct and have tried a couple of times with no success. I cannot contact the installer until Tuesday but I really want to have it working for class Tuesday morning if I can. Am good with laptops and computers but smartboard is new to me. Its probably a simple thing?
If anyone can tell me anything to try Id really appreciate it.

What operating system and make of computer is it?

If windows 7 then hold down the windows key + press P. A menu will appear listing options for the second display...
(Computer only, Duplicate, Extend, Projector only)
Press windows + P again to cycle to the option that you want, which is presumably 'Duplicate'.

For other OS there are other steps...

With Vista, you should be able to bring up the connect external display menu by pressing Windows + X then clicking connect external display.
This should prod windows into sending the signal to the external video connection.
