    Hi,

Am looking to get a home cinema system. Want some that I can play dvd's and my UPC channels through, and also something I can hook my ipod or laptop to to play music through. Am looking at this one from Power City. Realise it's at the lower end of the price range, but does anyone know if it would tick all the boxes, even if I have to buy another cable to hook up the ipod etc.

    Thanks

Don't know anything about that model but for €99 it will probably be a complete heap of sh1te, it's like buying a bottle of wine for €3. If you can go a couple of steps up the price ladder there will be a mega difference in what you get.

Strip out the retailer profit, assembly costs, shipping and packaging costs - I really can't see that there's any money left over to buy decent components.
