Voice Recorder, Transfer to PC, Convert to Text

An elderly relative of mine has a problem with his hands that prevents him from writing. He wants a (simple to use) voice recorder that can transfer his recordings to a PC and convert them to text (I realise that these may be two separate buys, a recorder that can transfer MP3 recordings to a computer and software to convert to text, but maybe there is one device that can do both?).
    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

I haven't used it myself so I don't know accurate it is but have you tried dragon dictation?

I don't know if you can transfer from recordings or if you would have to dictate directly into the computer

I had come across that before, I think you have to dictate into the microphone, it wont convert directly from audio files (its supposed to be more accurate than programs that do convert from audio files though). Thats probably my uncles best bet then. Thanks.

Any idea of a good voice recorder?
