Hi guys, I do have for sale an airsoft replica of H&K SL 9 Designated Marksman Rifle made by Ares. I'm not going to say a lot about Ares but those of you who are into airsoft know that it is top shelf stuff. They don't make rifles like this anymore...ok, maybe Systema, Tokyo Marui, VFC and Westerns Arms do very precise and top mark replicas...but you know their prices. Ares merged with Star now, and you know that it is a great company and very reliable. Most of us are using their SCAR's...and those are great. In my opinion Ares is far better then G&P or companys like it...you know KWA, Maruzen and Umarex where after 2 or 3k of BB's your gearbox needs a repair. This particular model, SL9 is very rare and expensive...you will easily find SL8 which looks like, hmmm, google it and decide for yourelfs.

SL9 was not very expensive 3 years ago where you could get it for 250 euro with shipping but now it is almost impossible to buy it. You can find it on UK web sites, version with silencer and a scope costs there around 600 GBP on ehobbyasia you will find it for 450 USD with special offer of 230 USD..but this offer is there for last wo years, there will be no re-stock, ever and plus there is no extras on it.The one which I have for sale was bought a year ago for 250, basic version. I did invest in it another 250, internal and external parts. If you interested in technical side of this replica just google it there is loads of info about it but simply saying...it is in Irish Airsoft Law standards, otherwise I wouldn't have it.

It is a great piece for someone who likes sniping and goes with light loadout as this gun is not very heavy but it has its weight...it is not plastic but glass fiber and zinc alloy composite. This is not sniper rifle only, it is TDM rifle what means that it is a support sniping rifle. There is a sniper in a team and if he needs a help/observer or an extra scope/shooter, a guy with this weapon moves into the action. This rifle is single fire and automatic fire as well. You just take off the scope and you have an assault weapon, it is a long barrel but it benefits with a fire range only.

Whole rifle is painted with ranger green colour, 2 coats and 1 undercoat of brown crylon paint, if you dont like the painting you can move the camouflage from the rifle within half an hour...it is crylon paint after all. Internals: I did change a piston for Guarder one, Systema spring M100S, new Ares torques ( I think I got the old set somwhere as well ) new wiring done by Mathew - Maciek in HobbyAirsoft. Externals: Tasco 3-9x56 scope with Mil Cross and red illumination of the cross, scope has King Arms scope extension, so it makes scope 3 inches longer and it covers the lenses from the sun, no reflection. Scope goes with a mounting piece. There is also additional mounting bracket for a flashlight or laser pointer. Rambo 2 bi-pod with custom made mounting, all painted the same way as the rifle. Magpul angle hadgrip, painted and custom mounted. G36 magazine converter and Battleaxe M4/16 converter, so you can use both kinds of magazines. Rifle goes with 3 magazines, 2 of them are G type 160 series...1 Mid Cap and 1 Sniper Mag for 20 BB's, short. and 1 Magpul Mid Cap. There is contract, genuine, Multicam 3 point sling for it ( brand new, stright from military stocks...was going to Afganistan, now here

and Multicam rifle carry bag, with loads of pockets, special space for a handgun and space for trwo rifles, can be converted into a backpack. I do add a green camo net for this 'sniper' rifle and some more extras, small things, that I still have somewhere in the boxes but not many of them, need to check it...really small insignifiacant things...different mounting for angle grip and so on.

Whole thing is worth more then 500 but I need to sell it, I'm not into sniping anymore and to be honest got my Systema rifle which is all what I need, tho, it's 4 times more expensive

...so now I'm selling my rifles ( did already sell some on ebay ) some to the HobbyAirsoft shop ( like MP5 K Charger, gas operated ). I have to make some space at home and stop living like in army barracks

The battery goes with the rifle of course. I do welcome anyone who would like to meet me and do some test shooting. I can deliver in Dublin and up to 50 km from Dublin...or to any other palce in Irealnd but that would't be for free. 50 km is top what I do for free, hehehe.

Please, only resionable offers, I will not sell it for some funny money. What I'm asking is 350 euro, for all of that.

Welcome to Boards, I have read through you post and boy O boy is it a bit of reading a wee bit of punctuation would not have gone a stray
But the bit that caught my eye was "it is in Irish Airsoft Law standards, otherwise I wouldn't have it" can you be a bit clearer on this

You need to state the Muzzle Energy of the SL9, you can do this in either FPS or Joules

...oh, yes, sorry for that. This particular SL 9 has around 290 FPS.
