Is Tragedy a theme?

    Hey all,

For my comparative, the theme we're doing is isolation, but I find that tragedy fits the texts better. I use isolation as one of the effects in a paragraph. My texts are Hamlet, Dancing at Lughnasa, and How Many Miles to Babylon.

Does tragedy count as a theme or it more a mode?

    Thanks in advance:)

    It's a theme! I think it's a mode for OL, but for HL it's definitely a Theme!
