    I am hoping that someone out there can assist me with this;

    We are in the possesion of a house that is in particularly bad condition in Munster.

    I am in a posistion to resmove and restore the furniture that is left in it, some pieces woudl be antiques and i would dearly love to have these restored.

    This post has several questions:

    1. Does anyone know of any decent companies that do furniture removal and restoration in and around Munster area?

    2. The house is in bad condition that i reckon some items could be for salvage and worth some money, are there salvage companies out there that come and clear out old houses?

    If anyone can recommend an antiques restorer and removals and storage company i would very much appreciate it.
    Thanks!!

    ***mods please feel free to move this post to a more suitable forum, if you feel it would get me more responses***

    I was going to suggest a storage unit in Killeigh as your location says the Midlands but the house is in Munster.

    Have you typed in 'architectural salvage' - if your restoring this house, seek as much advise as you can stand, before going with the 'sure ill take it of your hands' guy

    No I wouldnt have the time to restore the house i'm afraid. I wish! Its just not possible at the moment and yes if i was going to go down that road then of course i would get advice.

    What i need is a company that will move these pieces of furniture from the house and then restore them for us. The house is in Munster but we are based in the Midlands, so i am uncertain of the logistics of how this would work, so i would prefer some recomendations than just calling up companies randomly.
