    Was playing Tiger Woods up in a friends house on his xbox, loved it and decided to get a console. Just went down to xtravision where they have a bundle which includes ps3, 2 joy pads, hdmi and a game, to be chosen from a list of about ten incl FIFA and some of the main ones but not including Tiger.289€

    I told the guy I'd take the bundle I'd he gave me tiger as the game, I'd hand over the €289 there and then. He said he couldn't do it, GAME OVER.

    Seems crazy to me in this day and age. Just ordered from Amazon. I tried.

    Tiger Woods retails for €54.99 in Xtra-Vision. The games on their list for that bundle range from €20 to €30 cheaper than that so it's utterly unsurprising they wouldn't let you swap them really.

    Not from what I could see, FIFA 2012 was 54.95, FIFA street was the same, I didn't really look that closely at the rest of the games. Anyways, € 289 is a good amount to spend in one go these days and you would have thought they would want the sale. No worries anyway, I got it cheaper on Amazon, my money went out of the country aswell. Selfish Iknow but until Irish companies can hire people who think outside the box, that's the way it will be.

    How many gigs was the ps3 in xtravision? Tried looking for second hand ones in adverts?

    Well, I don't know about you but if I was told that only Games X, Y and Z can be included in the package I wouldn't (potentially) risk my job to change the game for a customer.

    On the other hand, he could have tried to contact his supervisor or whoever to see if it could be done. But who knows? Maybe somebody else had asked if the game could be changed and he'd already gotten a 'no' from his boss.

    I think what the op is saying is ina time of recession a company will let a customer with cash walk out for the sake of a few quid. Had a similar thing in curry s went to buy a 3d tv for 1000 euro it was 50 extra for a wireless dongle asked if he would include the dongle he said no so I left the shop went to curry in blanch same day they had 1 yr anniversary sale got the same tv for 850 with dongle. I don't usually bother haggling but sometimes it makes business sense to weigh up if you would lose out or not , not very customer will ask to change games.
