Is Palma Nova nice? I want to go to Majorca but also experience Spanish culture/food with a nice beach and night life. Nothing like Magaluf which I know is near by. Has anyone been to Palma Nova?

I was there, there is really no night life at all, have to go to Magaluf which is a dump.

It seemed to me to be just a beach, which was nice and couple of resteraunts.

I much rather Alcudia. That has a much better beach, a lovely port area. Couple of bars nothing major just being able to go out at night, and 3 late night disco bars.

For culture has the old village, and the market on down there too.

I loved palma nova, we you can walk along the beach to magaluf for night life then back to your hotel for late bar. I went there for my 30th birthday and loved it.

Palma Nova is lovely and quite lively, Santa Ponsa is close enough if you're looking for busier bars that aren't as rough as Magaluf.
