Does anyone know a campsite in Leinster that you can camp and light a campfire?

Hidden valley in wicklow i think. Was checking it out last summer and saw a family roasting a piglet on a spit over campfire. Apparently he only lets you light the fire near the stream edge not near tents and you'll need your own firewood. You could also try 'wild camping' and practice 'leave no trace' policy. just check in advance as most people won't let fires be lit. hope this helps. Richie.

You can also get a metal burner/stove type yoke for about €100. Lights easier, less smoke in the face, and best of all no burnt ground. We'd used it 'on the QT' (late at night) on a few sites and got away with it.
