Have been watching them all again on Netflix over the last while, even funnier the second time round and for laugh out loud moments its up there with TheSimpsons, Curb, Ted, and Seinfeld as the funniest tv sitcoms ever imo, Season 8 was supposed to be out "mid 2012" ie around now but haven't heard anything, any news?

    According to Wiki:
Series 8 will be recorded in Summer 2012, and broadcast in the Autumn of that year

Can't wait for the new series. It really hasn't gotten any weaker with time, and there has been a big break between the last season and the upcoming one, which bodes well (I hope).

Thats the great thing about it, it's pretty much all really funny, whether you stick on a season 1, 3 , or 7 episode or whatever season, v rare in a long running show, sad and inexplicable that something this good is watched by 7 times less people than Mrs. Browns Boys though.

Was thinking about this earlier (not specifically regarding Peep Show though).

People drink sh*t beer, eat sh*t food, watch sh*t television, listen to sh*t music and follow sh*t sports. I wouldn't be too worried about what the masses are watching, just as long as it doesn't affect the commissioning of future Peep Show seasons, which it hopefully won't.

Amongst my friends, at least, Peep Show is very popular.

season 7 was kinda the weakest I thought.. i wasn't mad on the whole zara angle although it was still a bloody fantastic series, just compared to the other six I found more to complain about

    mainly zara I guess

I wonder how season 8 will start...
will we get to see any of the fallout from what happened at the end of s7 or will it just skip forward a bit into their new roles... hopefully the inclusion of dobby into the flat doesn't ruin anything.. I like that girl, but small doses please.

Your not joining me, Mark and Gerard in the Dobby fan club so :D Loved 7 actually, finished watching it few days ago and it probably has the funniest scene ever in it, when Mark and Gerard are in the Forbidden Planet type shop looking at the Stalin and Roosevelt dolls (as if they would make them!)

    Mark to shop assistant when he's going up to buy Roovsevelt doll;

"Its not for me its for my son, he's a big fan of the New Deal!"

Jeremy pissing himself before the wedding and mark's turkey rant at jez forgetting the turkey are two of my favourite scenes. Crying with laughter both times.

And when Mark met Jeff and Sophie on the stairs after "soiling" himself with Dobby in the stationery room.

And thats not to mention all the Superhans moments.

    Plus:

Mark to Super Hans: "How are things?"

Super Hans: "I just spent another weekend looking in the mirror"

Mark "A bit of soul searching?"

    Super Hans: Cocaine Mark, Cocaine"

    Crying laughing as you said.

Flicking through the channels a couple of weeks ago, I stumbled across one of the latest episodes of 'Two And A Half Men' and I was pleasantly suprised to see the gorgeous Big Suze in it! :D I guess that means we won't be seeing Big Suze in 'Peep Show' again, unfortunately, if she's off trying to make a name for herself in the States. Pity! :(

Series 9 has been confirmed some time ago too, although there hasn't been much talk about it lately.

Peep Show is great. I love watching the old ones on 4OD. It is consistently good and frequently excellent.

I just have to convince myself that I am not as similar to Mark Corrigan as I think I am, and everything is fine :D
