Neutral wall colour for north-facing nursery?

    Hi all,

Am struggling to come up with a paint colour for our north facing box room which we are going to be using as a nursery.

I would be drawn towards colours such as teal, avocado, sage green & greys (was thinking of something along the lines as Elephant's breath) - but am having problems coming up with a tone that's not too dark, and that won't look muddy or dead in a small north facing room. Don't really want to go down the pink or blue route so something unisex or neutral would be best.

Can anyone suggest anything please? The only thing i'll put my foot down on is yellow, hate it! :)

    Thanks a lot!!!

North facing rooms do well with light muted colours (muted is a hue mixed with greys) interspersed with whites. Think of vintage Scandinavian interiors.
IMO the Cabbage white (F&B) would work well with the Borrowed Light or any of the other muted tones in the blue/green section.

I know there are blues in what I suggested, but it will make for a crisp, fresh looking room.
    Good luck.
