Awful parking + hit & run by lady driver in Poland!

She's been dubbed the worst car parker ever after being caught on camera spending six minutes trying to get into a space - and then driving off in a huff when she failed.
The hapless woman driver is seen trying to manoeuvre into a spot which, handily, is much bigger than usual given the sloppy stopping of a neighbouring car.

Clipping that vehicle, she gets out to analyse the situation, before embarking on a series of moves that causes chaos in the parking lot as other motorists try to get through.

    Link

I've seen lots of videos of bad parking but this one was real cringe worthy.

Sounds Polish to me, he's saying 'Nie', not 'Niet' and saying 'Tam' which means there. I picked up a bit of it, but I can't really understand Polish unless someone's in front of me and I can catch their inflections.

And 'za skończa' - it's finished.

Inspection: At one point, she gets out of her car to assess what can be done.

    Nice legs:D

    Definitely Russian.

0:23 " Yob tvoyu mat' " - didn't bother to watch any further.

    No Polish here, move along.

Co jest lepsze od parkującej kobiety?

Dwie parkujące kobiety w tym samym czasie. W Rosji.

What is better than a woman's parked? The two women parked at the same time. In Russia.

    Plot thickens:pac:

Thread should be "When two women try to park" The other driver was at least as bad.

    Nice legs, though.

No - it is not Polish, DEFINITELY Russian (I speak Russian fluently...)

That woman doesn't even look if she has done any damage to that other car.

At first i thought that Laguna(i think) driver was trying to talk to the long-legged beauty about where she bought her license. But as the driver didn't even try to stop the girl from going away, i don't really know what was going there... I've seen few more movies of those kind of drivers, and i honestly have no idea how they get behind the wheel. Some people may not be great drivers, or not interested and just get from A to B, but you have to be really, REALLY dumb stupid, to do something like that. I once seen the driver getting out of the car to see how the wheels are turned, as she couldn't figure it out while parking the car... Can post link if you like, it is somewhere in related on youtube anyway. Pure fun...

    That's Russian, not Polish.

Coming from a native Polish speaker.

Probaby OP got suggested by the fact, that video is posted by Polish person, title is in Polish, as well as decription.
But what we can see on the video, must be in Russia.

And I was supposed to get the fact that you speak fluent russian from your post ... how?

Jesus like, I heard words similar to Polish (Which we know there are a lot of similar words) and made a wrong decision - which I left open to others with more knowledge correcting, and they have done so.

The last six minutes of my life are asking if they can have a do-over. A slideshow of a man descaling a kettle would be an improvement, for example.

    1. i am not a new poster and most regulars know i am foreigner, so i know more languages then english?
    2. i said that he speaks "pure russian", but people still saying its polish after my post?
    3. if its a foreign language it does not mean its polish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,683 ✭✭✭✭Owen

    1. i am not a new poster and most regulars know i am foreigner.

    I didn't, so I'm sure others don't too.
    2. i said that he speaks "pure russian", but people still saying its polish after my post?

You made a statement, and didn't qualify it with any statement of your russian fluency. The same thing happens here regularly with motors questions. We'd a question on back tax yesterday, guy said 'you're liable for backtax' when clear the person wasn't. Just because an answer here is posted, doesn't always make it right. An answer backed up with a qualifying statement is much clearer - which you didn't do.

Instead, you got aggressive, made a flippant comment, and put in roll eyes smiley, which if I'm honest, was fairly sh*tty.
    3. if its a foreign language it does not mean its polish.

I'll repeat what I wrote above so. I heard words, which were very similar to Polish. I also wrote above that I have difficulty speaking Polish unless I have the person in front of me. I also wrote that someone with more knowledge than me would be able to make a correct decision.

There was absolutely no need for your aggressive and childish response.

Can we please get over the whole "what language" it is?It's been covered.

Few days ago President Obama, called nazi's death camps as "Polish death camps". Everyone in Poland got cross, and Polish government forced President Obama to apologize.

So I should do the same here and act as the representative of Poland on this forum.
I demand OP to apologize for this offensive title, as surely no one in Poland could be that bad at parking, This misleading topic leads to putting bad name on my country and it's drivers.
    Shame on you OP.

    PS - I'm only joking. :D:D:D:D:D
I've seen way worse parking in Poland than this BTW.
Don't take seriously what I've written above ;)

    This is Poland.

But I think drivers who forget to release handbrake are funnier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,476 ✭✭✭ardmacha

I wouldn't mind, but at the very start of the video she was on the right track and only had to turn in!

Anyhow joke : "Why can Russian women not park"?
Answer "because Russian men tell them that this ___________________ is 20 centimetres " (doesn't work so well on Boards).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,753 ✭✭✭qz

That other driver was just as bad. He should have just fcuking paralleled quickly into that mahoosive space between the two cars at the bottom of the screen and waited for the woman to either park or get off the pot.

    Blind leading the blind.
