Fun corporate outing ideas in the midlands

    Hi Everyone.

I work for a company with offices in Dublin and Galway. We are looking to oranise a fun team building/social event where people from both offices come together on a Wednesday in July. The idea would be for people to come to the offices as normal, where they'd be bussed to the location (in the midlands). Fun day ending with a bbq (maybe a few drinks), and then back on the buses at about 5 or 6pm so they can be home at a normal time. Does anyone know of any suitable locations? Companies who oranise these sort of things?

A couple of points - we have done similar things in the past, and people tend not to like to many water based activities. Also, it would be good if the event was enjoyable whatever the weather!

    Thanks for your help :-)

    Ronan

Thanks Scawgeen. That's along the right lines alright. Having looked at the site, it seems like they're just getting into the corporate area, and the focus seems to be on team building. We're looking for someone more focussed on fun. Still, depending on what else is out there, we may end up looking into asp further, so thanks for the link.

We always head to the NMCI in Cork for team building exercises. Great craic and get good enough prices

Cheers Pink. Cork would be a bit of a stretch.

Management have decided to go with a different approach this year, where we'll be helping out a charity for the day. Thanks for the replies anyway.
