If you like big headed woods then you cant go wrong from what ive heard, have heard great things about it, most important thing really is getting a shaft that you like

Thought the head was a smaller in the tour version? I'm looking for something for tighter driving holes. Heard the standard shaft is longer than usual so would need to get a different shaft put into it

Yep the tour head is slightly smaller (172cc vs 195cc) but its still bigger than most other 3 woods out there, the shaft is also 1/2 inch longer yep so deffo wanna get fitted i reckon. Ive got the 910F which is great for hitting off the deck, the head is very compact which imo is more favourable off the deck/fairways. Its probably one of the smallest headed woods you can get at 154cc, excluding woods from the 80s/90s of course ha

I've hit the tour version, 14.5deg with the normal "stiff" shaft, X-Con 7.
Its ok, its does go a long way, but how much of that is down to the shaft being longer is open to debate. For a stock shaft, its not too bad, fairly stable. It does look well behind the ball but the feel off the face wasn't great IMO. Definitely worth considering if you use a fairway of the tee a lot, but its still easy enough to get airborne off the deck.

Having said all that, I went back to my Pings !!:)

Had one in my hand and lunchtime and was thinking the same thing! I have the 3 rescue (18 degrees) and it's fantastic. If I could get 10-15 yards on my current 3W off the tee I'd be sold. Must look out for a demo day
