Epsom Oaks

The Fugue into favourite now ahead of Maybe. Surprised she held favouritism for so long.

Article on the RP says Kissed is still not a definite runner as they wanted some ease. I think Betterbetterbetter will make the frame, currently 33/1.

    My 1-2-3:

    Vow
    The Fugue
    Betterbetterbetter

With the Godolphin filly tailing off

Like the chance of Vow, hopefully Murtagh can put him in a good position.

I think this horse has huge ability but I would be worried about the way she ran around last time out and how she will handle Epsom. I think Ballydoyle may slow pace from the front and think Maybe coulb be the one.

If Maybe stays, she wins. Huge doubt for me so can't touch her with the speed she showed last year.
    Betterbetterbetter each way for me.

Kissed confirmed as a non runner.

Kissed now a non runner. Think The Fugue will take all the beating. If you fancy Vow you got to give Colima a chance. Vow had the run of the race at Lingfield and Colima was held up right at the back and wasnt really given a hard race suggesting that today was the main target. Plus she looks abit more straight forward filly. Beckett has done the same thing with his last Oaks winner Look Here who finished 2nd at Lingfield and won at Epsom. At the best prices now Vow 9/2 Colima 22/1. Value surely with Becketts filly. Think the fav will win though.

BBC said somebody had 10k e/w on Was at 25/1

The Fugue got battered in that race early on.

Lydia Hislop on RUK clearly isn't happy with the result.

She hasn't shut up banging on about how The Fugue was "unfairly hampered" since the race finished. She must have lumped heavily on the favourite.

Not having a go at her as such, she's a good presenter, but the (well deserved) winner hardly got a mention.

The Fugue was an unlucky loser in fairness. Holland coming in after 2 furlongs caused The Fugue to be completely closed up

    Unlucky yes - Unfair no.

Isn't see it but read a lot of complaints of Barzalona giving his filly a poor ride

    Bring back Frankie.
In fairness to the chap I don't think the horse handled the track. Joseph cut him off early in the race too, got 4 days for it !!

Jeez did you see the lads leading the winner in ? they were beaming from ear to ear ,availed themselves of some of the fancy prices without a doubt !
